Rasashastra & Bhaishajya kalpana is one of the most important branches of Ayurveda as it deals with actual preparation of Ayurvedic medicine.The department has well equipped laboratories. It has a very good collection of specimens, models and charts for the conduct of practical session for the students.
The department has Post Graduate course started in 2008 with 4 seats intake capacity every year. The department has its own pharmacy registered under Foods & Drugs department Ahmednagar with Lic. No. NK/AYU/001/11.
Various Ayurvedic medicines used in hospital are prepared in own pharmacy.
